The OGO Compost Toilet is great for living off the grid or making your RV a little bit greener. The OGO Compost Toilet is a urine-separating RV toilet, designed as a modern and environmentally friendly toilet solution. The toilet is specifically designed to flow urine into a front bottle and solid waste to a separate bin to mix with a medium such as coconut coir or sphagnum peat moss. With just the push of a button, the solid waste will mix and start the compost toilet.
There is a built-in sensor to indicate when the urine bottle (2.4 gallons) is full and needs to be emptied. The solids bin can last up to 30 uses depending on your situation. OGO even has a small fan that pulls excess moisture and odor from the toilet and vents outward. It's a 12V system that can be mounted directly to the floor, in small cabinets, or even in showers. It's one of the smallest compost toilet solutions on the market at just 16"W x 15"D x 18-3/8"H.
How It Works
Mix your medium in the solids bin. Coco Coir by OGO is highly recommend. Mix with water and "fluff." Open the trap door by pulling straight on the pull handle; close it using the same motion. Toilet paper can be discarded in the solids bin; however, single-ply or biodegradable is suggested to prevent clumping. Press the button on the side and walk away. OGO will get to work, starting the compost process.
Free Coco Coir
Coco Coir by OGO features 24 oz. of dry, pre-measured medium to refill the solids bin of your OGO Compost Toilet. Coco Coir is perfectly portioned in compostable bags, so you never have to worry about how much to add. This Coco Coir has the correct balance that other mediums fall short on. Fiber from coconut husk is called coconut coir, coconut pith, or coco peat. It's similar to but easier to use than sphagnum peat moss, and it's more sustainable too.
