Features
RescueME MOB1 from Ocean Signal is the world's smallest AIS MOB device with integrated DSC. The MOB1 is intended to be installed within your life jacket and will activate automatically upon inflation, sending the first alert within 15 seconds. MOB1 communicates with the vessel you have been separated from and other vessels in the vicinity (up to 5 miles away, depending on conditions). The unit also includes an integrated strobe light to provide a visual indicator of your position. Once activated, your MOB1 will transmit an alert to all AIS receivers and AIS enabled plotters in the vicinity. The integrated GPS ensures precise location is sent to your vessel and any others that may be assisting. An additional feature of the MOB1 is the ability to activate the DSC alarm on your vessel's VHF, alerting your crew to the situation. 1-watt AIS transmit power. 0.5-watt DSC transmit power. 156.5MHz operating frequency. 7-year battery life. 5.3"H x 1.5"W. Five-year warranty.
