For projects, the 458cc Champion single-cylinder OHV engine has what it takes to handle a multiple of power tools and large equipment you need to get the job done.
Starting and stopping your generator from up to 80' away with the wireless remote key fob is a snap. The convenient electric start includes a battery, plus Cold Start Technology ensures a quick start in cold weather.
The Champion Intelligauge monitors voltage, frequency, and operating hours. The foldaway easy-grip handle and included wheel kit with never-flat tires make it a cinch to move your power where you need it.
At 10,000 starting watts and 8000 running watts, this unit can handle it all in an outage – lights, refrigerator, modem/router, security system, window AC, furnace blower, TV, computer, phone charger, and more. Not only that, but the Volt Guard built-in surge protector prevents overloads and keeps your equipment safe from spikes in voltage. This generator includes two 120V 20A GFCI protected duplex household outlets (5-20R), a 120/240V 30A locking outlet (L14-30R), and a 120/240V 33.3A outlet (14-50R). All outlets have covers to protect them from moisture and dirt.
The 7.7-gallon gasoline tank provides up to 10 hours of power at 50% load. From 23' the noise level is 74 dBA, a bit louder than a vacuum cleaner. Designed with a low oil shut-off switch, this unit has a 1.2-quart oil capacity (recommended 10W-30). This generator is EPA certified and comes with Champion's 3-year limited warranty and FREE lifetime technical support.
CO Shield technology monitors the accumulation of carbon monoxide (CO), a poisonous gas produced by engine exhaust when the generator is running. If CO Shield detects unsafe elevated levels of CO gas, it automatically shuts off the engine. CO Shield is not a substitute for an indoor carbon monoxide alarm or for safe operation. DO NOT allow engine exhaust fumes to enter a confined area through windows, doors, vents, or other openings. Generators must always be used outdoors, far away from occupied buildings with engine exhaust pointed away from people and buildings.
