Features
The Black+Decker Energy Star rated Window Air Conditioner with Inverter Technology is built for high-efficiency cooling and energy. Inverter technology uses a variable speed compressor (rather than a fixed speed) to adjust according to the room temperature. This provides a more consistent temperature and helps save energy while efficiently controlling motor speed. The variable speed compressor automatically adjusts its rotational speed according to the selected temperature. It does not cycle on and off like traditional air conditioners. This also helps to reduce noise.
This unit comes with a full-function remote control with LED screen display and Follow Me function. The follow me feature allows you to use the remote as the thermostat to get temperature readings from where you are instead of the AC unit. This allows more precise temperature readings and improved control for cooling your environment. The control panel on the air conditioner window unit has electronic control with digital display. The adjustable thermostat controls from 60°F to 86°F. Choose between Auto, Cool, Dry, and Fan mode operations. Fan mode comes with 4 settings including Auto, Low, Med, and High fan speeds. Auto mode automatically selects cooling or fan only operation depending on the selected temperature and room temperature.
This inverter air conditioner also features a FLASHCOOL function that provides maximum cooling at high speeds to reach set temperature in the shortest time possible. Timer function helps turn the AC unit on or off automatically from 30 minutes to 24 hours. ECO mode and Sleep function for energy efficient operation. Designed for wooden or vinyl-clad windows from 23" to 36" wide. Washable, removable filter included. This AC unit uses R-32 refrigerant. LCDI protected 3-prong 78" power cord. Window installation kit includes accordion-style side panels, foam insulation strips, foam seal weather stripping, and hardware.
